The 56th Annual Meeting of AASP – The Palynological Society is over. Applause for the organizers!
The conference was fabulously organized with great field trips, fabulous keynotes, 2 awards for Scientific Excellence, delicious food at the Ice-breaker, business luncheon and conference dinner and most importantly, many many interesting talks and posters.
We are very grateful to Hess Corporation and for a private donation from Vladimir Torres Torres that made this year’s edition of the Early Career Networking Event possible. Thank you so much!
In addition, we thank this year’s mentors, that generously shared their advice during the AASP-TPS Student mentoring event at the very end of the conference (see image above). And of course thank you to our former Student Director-at-Large Opeyemi Taiwo, who organized and chaired the student events fabulously.
Finally, we want to thank the organizers again for their energy and commitment which made this such a successful meeting: Severine Fauquette, Sophie Warny, Ana Ejarque, Reyes Luelmo, Vladimir Torres and Vincent Montade. We wish you some days of rest after working so hard to make this an inspiring event.
